Overview
HolyShift Intelligence is designed to work out of the box. If you have already validated your idea, Intelligence knows your market, your competitors, and your positioning. All you need to do is open it and start reading.
This guide walks you through your first session with Intelligence — from opening the dashboard to acting on your first signal.
How to Use It
Step 1: Open Your Project
Navigate to the project you want to monitor. Intelligence works on any project in your HolyShift workspace, but projects with completed validations get the best results because HolyShift already understands your market.
Step 2: Go to Intelligence
Click the Intelligence tab in your project navigation. If this is your first time, HolyShift will take a few seconds to configure monitoring based on your project details.
Step 3: Review Auto-Configuration
HolyShift sets up your monitoring automatically using data from your project:
- Competitors identified during validation are added to your watchlist.
- Industry keywords from your project description become monitoring terms.
- Market segments from your target audience definition focus the signal detection.
You do not need to change anything to get started, but you can adjust these settings later if you want to track additional competitors or topics.
Step 4: Check Your Dashboard Weekly
Your Intelligence dashboard updates continuously, but the most effective habit is a weekly review. Each week, HolyShift generates a summary of the most important changes in your market. Look for:
- New signals — Things that appeared for the first time this week.
- Strengthening trends — Signals that are growing in relevance or frequency.
- Competitor movements — Product launches, pricing changes, funding rounds, or hiring patterns.
- Emerging threats — New entrants or shifts that could affect your positioning.
Step 5: Act on Signals
Every signal includes context and suggested actions. Not every signal requires a response — the key is knowing which ones do. See Interpreting Signals for a framework on when to act and when to wait.
Feature Details
- Zero-configuration start — Intelligence auto-configures from your project data. No manual setup required.
- Instant signal feed — Signals begin appearing as soon as monitoring is active.
- Weekly summaries — Automated highlights of the most important changes, available on your dashboard every Monday.
- Signal categories — Each signal is tagged by type (competitor, trend, funding, threat) so you can filter to what matters most.
- Suggested actions — HolyShift recommends what to do about each signal based on your project context.
FAQ
What if I have not run a validation yet? You can still use Intelligence, but you will need to manually specify your competitors and market focus. Projects with validation data get better-targeted monitoring because HolyShift already knows your competitive landscape.
How long until I see signals? Signals appear within minutes of activating Intelligence. The first weekly summary generates after seven days of monitoring.
Can I monitor more than one project? Yes. Each project has its own Intelligence dashboard with monitoring tailored to that project's market and competitors.
