Quick Start Guide
Go from sign-up to your first market validation in under 5 minutes. This guide walks you through the core HolyShift workflow so you can see results fast.
Prerequisites
- A HolyShift account (create one here)
- A startup idea you want to validate
Step 1: Create a project
A project represents one startup idea or product you want to validate. From your dashboard:
- Click New Project
- Describe your idea in plain language — what it does, who it's for, and what problem it solves
- Set your target market (e.g., "small business owners in the US" or "B2B SaaS for healthcare")
- Click Create
The more specific your description, the better your validation results will be. Don't worry about being perfect — you can refine it later.
Step 2: Run your first validation
Once your project is created, it's time to put your idea to the test:
- Click Run Validation from your project dashboard
- HolyShift will gather real market signals — analyzing conversations, forums, reviews, and market data related to your idea
- Wait for your Pretotyping Signal Report to complete (this usually takes a few minutes)
Your report will include: - Demand signals — is there real interest in what you're building? - Risk assessment — top risks and opportunities - Confidence score — a quantified measure of market viability - Recommended next steps — what to do with these results
On the Free plan, you get a go-to-market hypothesis, market conversations, strategic insights, a competitor snapshot, and a market white-space preview. Upgrade to Basic for a full research cycle with 500-1,000 real market conversations.
Step 3: Build a landing page from your results
Your validation data powers your landing page. From your project:
- Click Build Landing Page
- Choose a preset design (Bold Tech, Clean SaaS, Creative Agency, and more)
- HolyShift generates a full landing page — hero, features, social proof, CTA — using your product description and the language your market actually uses
- Customize anything you want in the editor
- Pick a subdomain (yourname.holyshift.ai) and publish
You now have a live page collecting real interest from real people.
Step 4: Monitor your market weekly
Once your project is live, HolyShift keeps working in the background:
- Weekly intelligence emails land in your inbox with what changed in your market, why it matters, and what to do about it (Pro plan)
- Leads are discovered and verified automatically through a structured B2B pipeline (Basic: 20/month, Pro: 100/month)
- Confidence scores update week over week so you can track momentum
Check your project dashboard regularly to see new signals, leads, and market movements.
