Quick Start: Build a Landing Page
[Live]
From zero to published in under 5 minutes.
This guide walks you through creating and publishing your first landing page with HolyShift. No design skills required. No code. Just describe what you're building and let the AI handle the rest.
Before you start
You'll need a HolyShift account and a project. If you've already run a validation, even better — the builder will use your market research to write better copy. If you haven't, that's fine too. You can start from a product description alone.
Step 1: Open your project
Go to your dashboard and click into the project you want to build a landing page for. If you don't have a project yet, create one — give it a name and a short description of your idea.
Step 2: Go to Build
Click the Build tab in your project. This opens the landing page builder, where you'll see a chat interface on one side and a live preview on the other.
Step 3: Describe what you want
You have two options:
- Use your validation data — if you've run a validation, HolyShift can automatically pull your product description, target audience, key pain points, and winning messaging from your Pretotyping Signal Report. Click Use validation data and the AI will generate a page grounded in real market signals.
- Start from scratch — type a product description in the chat. Be specific: what does your product do, who is it for, and what problem does it solve? The more detail you give, the better the result.
Step 4: Choose a preset
HolyShift offers 7 design presets, each with its own visual personality and 12 section archetypes:
- Bold Tech — sharp, modern, high-contrast. Great for dev tools and tech startups.
- Clean SaaS — professional, minimal, trustworthy. Built for B2B software.
- Creative Agency — expressive, colorful, dynamic. Ideal for creative services.
- Dark Premium — dark backgrounds, gold accents, luxury feel. For premium products.
- Fresh Health — light, airy, organic. Perfect for health and wellness.
- Warm Startup — friendly, rounded, approachable. Good for consumer products.
- Elegant Editorial — refined typography, content-first. Best for content-focused products.
Pick the one that matches your brand's personality. You can always change it later.
Step 5: Preview and refine
The AI generates your page and shows it in the live preview panel. Review what you see, then use the chat to make changes:
- "Make the headline shorter"
- "Add a pricing section"
- "Change the CTA to 'Start your free trial'"
- "Use a darker color scheme"
Every change appears in real time. Keep iterating until you're happy with the result.
Step 6: Publish
Click Publish. Choose your subdomain slug — this becomes yourslug.holyshift.ai. Your page goes live instantly with full SEO, mobile responsiveness, and built-in lead capture.
That's it. You now have a live landing page collecting leads.
Tips for a great first page
- Be specific in your description — "AI-powered expense tracking for freelancers" works better than "a finance app"
- Reference your validation — if you've run one, let the AI use it. The copy will be sharper because it's based on what your market actually responded to
- Don't overthink the preset — pick the closest match and refine from there
- Iterate with chat — the first generation is a starting point. The real magic is in the refinement
