A/B Testing

[In Progress]

Test what works. Deploy what wins. Automatically.

A/B testing for HolyShift landing pages is more than a split-testing tool. It's a closed-loop optimization system: your market research generates signals, those signals generate page variants, traffic is split between them, statistical significance is tracked, and winning variants are deployed — all without manual intervention.

What it does

A/B testing lets you create multiple versions of your landing page and split traffic between them to see which one converts better. But unlike standalone A/B testing tools, HolyShift connects the loop:

  1. Signal — your validation data and market research surface what messaging, positioning, and CTAs your audience responds to
  2. Behavior — the AI generates page variants grounded in those signals, each emphasizing different angles
  3. Optimization — traffic is split between variants and conversion data is tracked in real time
  4. Deployment — when a variant reaches statistical significance, the winner is automatically deployed as your primary page

This isn't just testing two headlines against each other. It's a system where your market research directly informs what gets tested, and the results feed back into future optimizations.

How it works

  1. Start from your published page — your current landing page becomes the control variant
  2. Generate variants — the AI creates alternative versions based on your market research signals (see creating variants)
  3. Split traffic — visitors are randomly assigned to a variant. Each visitor sees only one version for the duration of their session
  4. Track conversions — HolyShift monitors lead form submissions, CTA clicks, and scroll depth for each variant
  5. Declare a winner — when results reach statistical significance, HolyShift notifies you and can auto-deploy the winner

What you can test

Each variant tests a meaningful difference grounded in a real hypothesis from your market data — not random permutations.

FAQ

How much traffic do I need for A/B testing?

It depends on your base conversion rate and the size of the difference between variants. As a rough guide, most tests need 200-500 visitors per variant to reach significance. HolyShift will tell you when you have enough data — see statistical significance.

Can I run more than two variants?

Yes. You can test multiple variants simultaneously. Keep in mind that more variants require more traffic to reach significance for each one.

What happens to leads collected during a test?

All leads are captured regardless of which variant they saw. Your lead dashboard shows which variant each lead came from.

Can I stop a test early?

Yes. You can stop a test at any time and choose which variant to keep. However, stopping before statistical significance means the result may not be reliable.
