Design Presets

[Live]

7 presets. 12 section archetypes each. One click to a cohesive design.

Every landing page in HolyShift starts with a design preset. Presets control the visual foundation of your page — typography, color palette, spacing, section layouts, and component styles. Each preset includes 12 section archetypes that the AI selects from when generating your page.

You choose a preset based on the personality you want your page to convey. The AI handles everything else.

How presets work

A preset is more than a color scheme. Each one defines:

When the AI generates your page, it picks the section archetypes that best fit your product and content, then fills them with custom copy. The result is a page that looks professionally designed without any manual layout work.

The 7 presets

Bold Tech

Best for: Developer tools, technical platforms, API products, tech startups.

Sharp edges, high contrast, and a modern feel. Bold Tech uses dark backgrounds with bright accent colors, monospace elements for technical credibility, and strong geometric layouts. Headlines are large and direct. CTAs are high-contrast and impossible to miss. This preset says "we build serious tools for serious builders."

Visual signature: Dark hero backgrounds, neon or electric accent colors, code-style typography accents, angular section dividers.

Clean SaaS

Best for: B2B software, productivity tools, enterprise platforms, professional services.

Minimal, professional, and trustworthy. Clean SaaS uses generous white space, a restrained color palette, and clean typography to project competence and reliability. Nothing flashy — everything serves clarity. This is the preset for products where trust and professionalism matter more than personality.

Visual signature: White or light gray backgrounds, blue-toned accents, sans-serif typography, card-based feature layouts, subtle shadows.

Creative Agency

Best for: Design studios, creative tools, marketing agencies, portfolios.

Expressive, colorful, and dynamic. Creative Agency uses bold color combinations, asymmetric layouts, and playful typography to show that your brand has personality. It's the most visually adventurous preset — expect gradient backgrounds, overlapping elements, and sections that feel alive.

Visual signature: Gradient backgrounds, vibrant multi-color palettes, mixed typography weights, overlapping visual elements, rounded shapes.

Dark Premium

Best for: Luxury products, premium services, high-end SaaS, fintech.

Dark backgrounds, gold or silver accents, and refined typography. Dark Premium communicates exclusivity and sophistication. Every element feels intentional and polished. This preset works best when your product targets an audience that values quality over price.

Visual signature: Near-black backgrounds, metallic accent colors, serif headings, generous spacing, subtle animations, minimal but impactful imagery.

Fresh Health

Best for: Health and wellness, fitness apps, nutrition products, mental health tools, sustainability.

Light, airy, and organic. Fresh Health uses soft greens, natural tones, and open layouts to create a calming, welcoming experience. Typography is friendly and readable. The overall effect is a page that feels healthy and trustworthy — like the product itself.

Visual signature: White and soft green backgrounds, natural photography style, rounded corners, organic shapes, leaf or nature-inspired accents.

Warm Startup

Best for: Consumer apps, community platforms, early-stage products, friendly B2C brands.

Friendly, approachable, and human. Warm Startup uses warm colors (oranges, yellows, soft reds), rounded shapes, and conversational typography. It's the preset for products that want to feel like a friend, not a corporation. Great for early-stage startups that want to build emotional connection.

Visual signature: Warm-toned backgrounds, rounded buttons and cards, hand-drawn or playful illustration style, casual but clear typography.

Elegant Editorial

Best for: Content platforms, newsletters, media products, knowledge tools, publishing.

Refined typography and a content-first layout. Elegant Editorial treats your text as the hero — large serif headings, generous line heights, and a reading experience that feels like a high-quality publication. If your product is about content, information, or ideas, this preset lets the words do the work.

Visual signature: Serif heading fonts, generous line height, minimal color (black/white with one accent), column-based layouts, pull quotes.

Choosing the right preset

Ask yourself these questions:

  1. Who is your audience? A developer tool and a wellness app need very different visual languages.
  2. What feeling should the page convey? Trust? Excitement? Calm? Premium? Friendly?
  3. What does your competition look like? Sometimes matching your industry's visual conventions builds trust. Sometimes breaking them gets attention.
  4. What content do you have? If you have great photography, presets with larger image areas (Creative Agency, Fresh Health) will serve you well. If you're copy-heavy, Elegant Editorial or Clean SaaS work better.

When in doubt, Clean SaaS is the safest default — it works for nearly any product. Bold Tech is the default for technical products. Warm Startup is the best choice if you're not sure and want to feel approachable.

Customizing after generation

Presets set the foundation, but you're not locked in. After generation, use the chat editor to adjust:

These changes override the preset's defaults for that specific page. Your modifications are preserved across edits and publishing.

FAQ

Can I switch presets after generating?

Yes. Tell the chat editor "switch to Dark Premium" (or any other preset) and the AI will regenerate the page with the new preset while keeping your custom copy. Some manual refinement may be needed after switching.

Can I create a custom preset?

Not yet. Custom presets are on the roadmap. For now, start with the closest preset and use the chat editor to customize colors, fonts, and layouts.

Do presets affect SEO?

No. SEO elements (meta tags, structured data, canonical URLs) are generated independently of the design preset. All presets produce the same SEO quality.

Which preset converts best?

There's no universal winner. Conversion depends on your audience, your copy, and your offer. That said, Clean SaaS and Bold Tech tend to perform well for B2B, while Warm Startup and Fresh Health do well for B2C. A/B testing (coming soon to Build) will let you test presets against each other.
