Building a Landing Page

Building a Landing Page

Create and publish a conversion-optimized page in minutes.

[Live]

Overview

This tutorial walks you through building a landing page with HolyShift's Build tool. Your page is generated from your product description and — if you have completed validation — grounded in real market data. By the end, you will have a live page on your own subdomain collecting leads.

Expected time: Under 10 minutes from start to publish.

Step-by-Step

Step 1: Open Your Project

Navigate to the project you want to build a landing page for. Build works on any project, but projects with completed validations produce better results because HolyShift uses your market research to write copy that resonates with your audience.

Tip: If you have not validated yet, you can still build a page from a product description alone. But the copy will be based on what you told HolyShift, not what your market told HolyShift. Validation data makes a meaningful difference in conversion quality.

Step 2: Go to Build

Click the Build tab in your project navigation to open the landing page builder.

Step 3: Describe Your Page

You have two options:

Tip: Even if you use validation data, you can add specific instructions. For example: "Focus the hero section on the time-saving benefit" or "Lead with the pain point about manual data entry."

Step 4: Choose a Preset

HolyShift offers 7 design presets, each with 12 section archetypes:

Pick the one that best matches your brand personality and audience expectations.

Tip: When in doubt, start with Clean SaaS. It works for most B2B products and prioritizes clarity over style.

Step 5: Preview and Refine

HolyShift generates your page and shows a live preview. Review each section and use the conversational editor to make changes. Type what you want in plain language:

The editor applies changes instantly. Iterate until the page says what you want it to say.

Tip: Focus on the message first, design second. Get the copy right — the value proposition, the pain points, the call to action — before tweaking colors and fonts. A page with strong copy and average design outperforms a beautiful page with weak messaging every time.

Step 6: Publish

When you are satisfied with the preview, click Publish. Your page goes live at yourname.holyshift.ai with full SEO (canonical URLs, Open Graph tags, JSON-LD structured data, sitemap, robots.txt) and built-in lead capture.

Tip: Publishing is not permanent. You can unpublish, edit, and republish at any time. Do not let perfectionism delay your launch — get the page live and iterate based on real visitor behavior.
