HolyShift Affiliate Program Code of Conduct

This Affiliate Code of Conduct (“Code”) sets forth the mandatory standards and requirements for participation in the HolyShift affiliate and referral program (the “Affiliate Program”), operated by HolyShift, Inc. (“HolyShift,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By participating in the Affiliate Program, you (“Affiliate”) agree to comply with this Code in addition to HolyShift’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. PURPOSE & PRINCIPLES

HolyShift’s Affiliate Program is built on transparency, trust, and ethical promotion.

Affiliates must:

  • Represent HolyShift honestly and accurately
  • Respect user trust and applicable laws
  • Avoid deceptive, manipulative, or spam-based practices

This Code exists to protect:

  • End users
  • The HolyShift brand
  • The integrity of the Affiliate Program

2. TRANSPARENCY & DISCLOSURE

2.1 Mandatory Disclosure

Affiliates must clearly disclose their relationship with HolyShift whenever promoting or linking to the Service.

Disclosure must be:

  • Clear and conspicuous
  • Proximate to the affiliate link or promotion
  • Understandable to the average user

Acceptable examples:

  • "I may earn a commission if you sign up."
  • "Affiliate link – I receive a referral fee at no extra cost to you."

If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm you have permission to do so.

2.2 Regulatory Compliance

Affiliates are responsible for complying with:

  • FTC endorsement guidelines (United States)
  • EU consumer-protection and unfair-commercial-practice laws
  • Any local advertising or marketing regulations applicable to their audience

3. PERMITTED PROMOTIONAL METHODS

Affiliates may promote HolyShift via:

  • Websites, blogs, or landing pages
  • Social media posts or profiles
  • Newsletters and opt-in email lists
  • Educational content, reviews, or tutorials

All promotional content must be:

  • Truthful and accurate
  • Based on real features or documented use cases
  • Consistent with HolyShift's publicly available materials

4. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Affiliates may not engage in any of the following:

4.1 Misrepresentation

  • Making false, misleading, or exaggerated claims
  • Promising guaranteed results, revenue, or outcomes
  • Implying endorsement by HolyShift beyond the affiliate relationship

4.2 Spam & Unsolicited Outreach

  • Sending unsolicited emails, messages, or DMs
  • Posting referral links in spammy or irrelevant contexts
  • Violating platform rules (LinkedIn, Reddit, X, etc.)

4.3 Deceptive Practices

  • Cookie stuffing or forced attribution
  • Using misleading redirects or cloaking
  • Impersonating HolyShift or its representatives

4.4 Brand & Trademark Abuse

  • Using HolyShift trademarks, logos, or branding without permission
  • Registering confusingly similar domains or social handles
  • Running paid ads bidding on HolyShift brand keywords (unless explicitly approved)

4.5 Incentivized or Manipulative Referrals

  • Offering cash, gifts, or undisclosed incentives to induce sign-ups
  • Creating fake accounts, reviews, or testimonialsž
  • Self-referrals or circular referral schemes

5. DATA & PRIVACY OBLIGATIONS

Affiliates must:

  • Comply with applicable data-protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Obtain proper consent before collecting or using personal data
  • Not collect or store user data unnecessarily
  • Not represent themselves as data controllers for HolyShift

Affiliate tracking and attribution are handled via FirstPromoter.
​Affiliates may not interfere with or manipulate tracking mechanisms.

6. CONTENT STANDARDS

Affiliate content must not:

  • Be unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory
  • Promote hate, violence, or illegal activity
  • Misuse AI-generated or synthetic endorsements
  • Contain malware or malicious scripts

HolyShift reserves the right to request edits or removal of non-compliant content.

7. MONITORING, ENFORCEMENT & REMEDIES

HolyShift may:

  • Monitor affiliate activity and traffic sources
  • Audit compliance with this Code
  • Reverse or withhold commissions for violations
  • Suspend or terminate affiliate accounts at its discretion

Serious or repeated violations may result in:

  • Immediate termination
  • Forfeiture of unpaid commissions
  • Permanent exclusion from the Affiliate Program

8. NO EMPLOYMENT OR AGENCY

Affiliates are independent contractors.

Nothing in this Code creates:

  • An employment relationship
  • A partnership or joint venture
  • Authority to bind HolyShift

Affiliates may not act on behalf of HolyShift or represent themselves as agents.

9. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS CODE

HolyShift may update this Code at any time.

Continued participation in the Affiliate Program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Code.
